Lasst uns bitte Erfahrungsberichte jenseits des zu langen Hauptfreds an dieser Stelle sammeln.

„CE04 after 1 month review:
Hi Everyone, after 1 month with the CE04 I thought to share my experience. I did open this group last year when I did reserve the bike. I have no connection link or support with BMW. This is just my opinion after 1 Month. I use the bike for commuting (daily 15k) and my wife is also riding it. I have other motorbikes. I have more than 500k on motorcycles (which makes me quite old).
The Good:
I do love the bike, the riding experience is amazing. Is quite silence. Acceleration is amazing. I really like the riding modes, my wife is gaining confiding using less aggressive riding modes. Breaks are OK, having said that ABS kicks early on the rear brake. The bike is heavy and long, but you don’t feel it when you are riding. Storage is great (I can fit my helmet and jacket). Range is predictable (no like teslas). Rear “gear” is great, I thought I wouldn’t use it but I use it all the time. Visibility at night is amazing, (better than any other bike that I have ridden). Display is great, but I think overtime the information will be optimized. Would I recommend the bike after 1 month better than a petrol scooter? If you will charge it at home and not rely on public charging stations YES.
The Bad:
Charging:
Disappointed with the charging experience – You have to select the Amps, hey what? Why cannot the bike start charging with any available current? Like other EVs? If you are at home you may know the amps but when you are in a public station you don’t know it. The process is “select it (i.e 12Am)” them “switch off the bike” them “Check the display the 10 seconds that it is on and check if the bike is charging” them if not charging “Turn on the bike and repeat”. Really? If the Apms change during charging it stops (but you don’t know it). If you want to check if the bike is charging you have to check the led in the charger, but in a public station that is not there. Really why the bike cannot show the charging status and % during charging? (there is a way to do that - if you click on the on button without the fob! You can see it. But if you have the fob with you the bikes turn on and them charging stops ). Really bad experience. Also, why I cannot see the charging status and % in the app? That is silly. You must turn on the bike to connect the app. When you turn on the bike the charging stops. You see, it drives me crazy. I just want First the bike charging on any Amps supported, and second please tell me if the bike is charging and time to complete the charge. I wonder if the BMW engineers have a phone. Do they need to switch off the phone to charge it? Do they have the display off during charging? Do they guess when the phone is fully charged?? I really hope they fix it by software updates soon. Other issues, Tesla Wall charger doesn’t work. I have tried another wall public charger and it doesn’t work.
Please tell me if you have a different experience.
App:
Connect the app is slow (I use iPhone, please tell me if it is better on Android), takes good 45s to 1.5 minutes to have the map in the display. You have to click on connect and accept every time.
The Ugly:
Tomtom maps are bad, I get crazy routes in the city. Event in short trips that I know well. It could be me using first time BMW-tomtom maps. I would love juts google maps, but it is not going to happen
Brake levers are far, I’m 170cm and it is hard to rich the brakes, it makes really difficult to action the buttons or joystick. This is easy to fix with an aftermarket levers, but really on this price range the bike should have adjustable brake levers.“
