Swapping Controllers for Sli10

Hi all,

I am a bit new to this. I want to swap my controller from my IVA NCE Pro (in Germany Inoa Sli10). In the Netherlands, this is a 45 km/h restricted vehicle. So it comes with a 65A controller. I think its a Lingbo, because it looks exactly like one.

I know that the Sli10 Max is rated for ~90 km/h, and want to know if it's possible to buy another Lingbo controller (Basically the one that comes in the Sli10 Max in Germany) with 120A output, and swap them. I want to buy this one: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005002372888152.html

Do you have experience with this? Is it hard? Can I just swap them?

The reason I ask, is because going to a 'dealer' or 'garage', they charge me 99 euros. And buying my own controller is maybe 200-220 euros and then I have full control myself. Which I like, of course.

Thank you so much!!!

Hi and welcome,
at first You should ask the SLi10max owners, if the motortype of the 90 km/h version is really identical to the type (?) in Your 45km/h scooter. The other precondition is the dual battery system.
Nova-Motors/INOA offes the SLi10max Controller for 399,-€, but without the correct motortype Your ambitions will not be successfull.
The chineese Lingbo version has to be adjust propperly to the vehicle and possibly the cable harness could vary.
May be, to buy an SLi10max will be the easy way.

Thank you didithekid.

I was unable to find anything meaningful on the internet about the motor, but then I looked at the INOA website and found the motor as a spare part. And it says it's suitable for both the 45 km/h and the 90 km/h version. So I think it's purely the controller that is the limiting factor. That makes more sense. Otherwise the manufacturer has to design different motors.
