Problems with the telemetry power supply we discussed in this thread, there I did a kind of summarization:

Here are my special thoughts to your problem:
You mentioned Silence's workaround to fix the battery fault with a power supply from the USB socket. This should work at least for a day, not only for 15 minutes. The battery inside the telemetry module (here often referred as "Astra" - the manufacturer) should be charged within one hour and will last at least some hours (somehing in the range of 7-24) without any modification, but: to get the workaround better, a software update of the main unit "ECU" is necessary as well as some adapted settings within the Astra. Nevertheless, I guess it is possible to get the Astra working for 3 days from its internal backup battery, but not longer.
I had never heard of wild switching on-off the scooter if the Astra's internal battery get drained. I had a bad main battery, too and recharged the Astra's battery several times without any unwanted effects.
We have. I used an external battery (12V 6Ah), charged from the scooters 12V supply while driving or charging, to get the Astra working for more than a week. The battery resides in the seat compartment and grabbed power from the OBD socket, but still a modification of the scooters cables is mandatory. The better version is to modify the main battery and install a 12V step-down converter behind the sealed backside, but this is not recommended as long as you have (or loose) any warranty with the battery pack.I wonder if you know any hack to get battery straight from the main battery or to replace the TCU battery with a bigger one because even the alarm doesn't work all this time.
